We Started Tailopia So No One Has to Lose a Pet the Way We Did

My name is Ahmed. My fiancée has a cat named Kitto — and like most cat owners, we'd do anything to keep her healthy.

But before Kitto, I lost a cat of my own. She died from kidney failure caused by chronic dehydration. At the time, I didn't know how common this was. I didn't know that cats, by instinct, distrust still water and often don't drink enough from a bowl. I didn't know that by the time a cat shows symptoms, serious damage is often already done.

After that loss, I started looking for a solution — a water fountain that would encourage cats to drink more. What I found in the market was disappointing. Plastic fountains that built up bacteria and fungus within days. Stainless steel products that rusted. Pumps so loud they scared cats away. And worst of all, fountains with electrical components sitting directly in the water — creating a real static shock risk for the animals they were supposed to help.

None of them were good enough. So I decided to build something better.

AquaVeil is the product I wish had existed when I needed it — medical-grade 304 stainless steel, a wireless induction pump that keeps all electronics completely isolated from the water, four-stage filtration, and a design quiet enough that even the most skittish cat won't notice it's there.
